yesterday we went to BOCA and walked around the historic/artsy district. went to a super cute "handmade" type trendy store, and ate amazing food at don juan something or other. the lunch was interesting... you basically pay a flat rate, then the cook makes whatever he wants for the whole restaurant.
we had cheesey potatoes, spinach truffle thingies, strange creamy pizza, roasted red peppers and eggplant, several steaks, chorizo, smoked fish, bread and cheese, empanaditas, meatballs, fried provalogne cheese, coke zero from glass bottles and numerous desserts.... flan, terramizu (sp?), candied fruit, ice cream, apple tart, pastries, chocolates...... insane.
and today, we're all in bed with upset stomachs. good thing it's raining.
